DONATE

The long-term excellence and sustainability of Hanlan’s rowing programs rely on three foundations: coaching, equipment, and facilities.

CURRENT CAMPAIGNS

HANLAN EQUIPMENT FUND

The Hanlan Equipment Fund supports the purchase of a wide variety of rowing equipment, including rowing shells, oars and coach boats. Most of these acquisitions require capital that exceeds the capacity of our membership fees, which we want to keep as low as possible to ensure that rowing at Hanlan is accessible for all. Major equipment donors are given naming rights for new boats and all donors will be recognized formally by the Club. No donation is too small. Click HERE to access these projects through the NSTF.

All donations made through the NSTF/Ontario Sport Network will receive tax receipts. Supporters can donate cash (via credit card) or publicly traded securities. We are also able to give receipts for donations in kind (such as boats and rowing machines), with prior approval by the Hanlan Board and subject to professional appraisal.

The Coaching Excellence Fund

At Hanlan we recognize the importance of having top quality coaching for all of our rowing programs. To this end, we launched the Hanlan Coaching Centre of Excellence in 2022, in concert with a fundraising campaign aimed at coaching the same year.

Now, for the first time you will be able to support our coaches financially and receive a tax receipt for doing so. The Hanlan Coaching Fund contributes to both the direct costs of coaching, as well as professional coaching development for our coaching staff. The fund makes it possible for Hanlan to improve the coaching skills of our staff, attract new coaches, and expand coaching availability to all of the programs at the Club.  More details at: Hanlan Coaching Centre of Excellence. Please donate here: Ontario Sport Network

boathouse FUND

While our new boathouse has been completed, we continue to make finishing touches to it, focusing on the boathouse grounds, docks and shoreline. Our charitable fund, which supports these improvements, remains open via the NSTF. We welcome your support. Click HERE to support these projects.

If you have any questions about your donation, wish to be recognized in a certain way, have a particular project you are interested in supporting, or would like to help with our fundraising efforts, please contact communications@hanlanboatclub.ca
