HANLAN BOAT CLUB STRATEGIC PLAN

In 2022, Hanlan Boat Club’s Board of Directors adopted a new Strategic Plan. Our new boathouse, built in 2019 with significant upgrades in 2022, has increased our capacity to welcome new members. Our plan is to expand our club, while staying true to our commitment to keeping rowing financially accessible. Our goal is to offer a variety of member and non-member programs for Torontonians of all ages.

We are also excited by the opportunities created by the redevelopment of the Toronto Port Lands (portlandsto.ca). There is a new, flat-water river valley in our backyard and we can’t wait to invite more of the community to our Club as the area grows.

• Improve coach, staff, volunteer and member experience (including the Hanlan Coaching Centre of Excellence)

• Enhance equipment and facilities

• Ensure club sustainability (financial, environmental and leadership)
