HANLAN BOAT CLUB STRATEGIC PLAN

In 2022, Hanlan Boat Club’s Board of Directors adopted a new, five-year Strategic Plan, which outlines our mission to expand the club while staying true to our commitment to keep our rowing programs financially accessible for Torontonians of all ages.

We are also excited by the opportunities created by the redevelopment of the Toronto Port Lands (portlandsto.ca) and look forward to welcoming more of our community to the new, flat-water river valley in our backyard.

STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS

1. Develop programs and pathways to grow the club and welcome everyone as a member for life.

2. Act as one club, pulling together,with inclusivity across a diverse membership.

3. Improve coach, staff, volunteer and member experience.

4. Enhance equipment and facilities.

5. Ensure club sustainability (i.e., financial, environmental and leadership).
